Water-Soluble

Derwent have created an innovative range of colouring pencils that are water-soluble! These products that can be used dry or with water to create brilliant effects. Water-soluble sketching pencils are much like the traditional sketching pencils, but they are water-soluble! All you have to do is add water to gently dissolve the graphite for line and wash sketches and watch your art take on a new, softer feel. Graphitone pencils are a stick of pure, water-soluble graphite in a paper wrapper.

Some coloured pencils are also water-soluble. To check if a product is water-soluble or not simply look for the brush icon on the products and packaging!
