Watercolour paint brushes are specially made to allow the artist to control the flow of the colour from the brush onto the paper. A watercolour brush should hold a fine point when wet and spring back into shape after each stroke. It should carry the colour allowing the artist to lay it down on the paper evenly and consistency.
