Award winning botanical and nature artist, Jackie Isard, is self-taught and enjoys painting flowering plants and nature subjects in a detailed style. Jackie runs watercolour mixing courses both in workshops and online. She is passionate about colour, and her clear and detailed tuition has already proved invaluable for many students wishing to improve their skills. Jackie wrote her first book in 2020, which she felt would be a much needed addition to the botanical book world. This book has proved an essential tool for botanical artists worldwide. In 2022 she won an RHS Gold medal and two of her paintings are now held in the RHS Lindlay Library and the Dr Shirley Sherwood collection.
Jackie also wrote a little book (self published) about using watercolour for beginners. It is a handy little book with exercises and lots of information about painting with watercolour.
