Lovely rich colours
Gorgeous rich colours, easy to wet. Pity there were 2 sticks of moonglow in set and no violet.

A good set of watercolour sticks that give a nice range of secondary colours, ideal for using as is or mixing/tinting. I like how easy it is to apply the colour with a brush directly from the stick, sort of like an elongated pan. The colour comes away well on to the brush and can be as intense as required or as subtle as needed. Their versatility means they can also be applied straight to the paper, to give a graphic element to a wash but even so can be wetted to give a washed area that retains a little of the marks from the dry application. Also handy for applying neat over a previously dried wash to give texture to an area. I find the range of colours in the set handy in easy to use on their own but also easy to use existing pans to grey the colours out if needed. Really handy when out sketching to compliment my travel palette without adding too much weight or bulk.
