Description

The PanPastel Sofft Knife No 4 Point is modelled on the shape of a traditional painting knife and allows you to apply PanPastel colour with painterly strokes. These plastic knives are transformed into a multi-use applicator by their micropore sponge tip. Lift colour directly from your pan with this sponge tip and apply pastel like you would a fine paint. The sponge retains and releases colour perfectly and is easy to clean and wash. They are non-abrasive and deliver a smooth, uniform finish. Highly versatile, they can also be used with water-based painting mediums.

A refill pack of applicator tips is also available.

Knife size - each: 6.7 x 0.4" (170 x 10mm).

Cover size - each: 1 x 0.5" (26 x 13mm).

  • Brilliant piece of equipment

Only recently discovered panpastels, I wish they’d come along years ago
Love pastels but always found them rather imprecise, panpastels get around this problem with a variety of painting knives and sponge pads - lovely clean edges
