A self levelling gel with honey-like consistency. Gently pouring yields a long, constant-flowing string of gel. Mix with acrylic colour for interesting application affects, to enhance depth of colour, and to increase transparency and flow. Mixed with acrylic colour and brushed, colour “follows” the brush creating long streaking effects.

Have always used Golden Tar Gel in the past, which is also a great product but found the string gel equally good in quality and if anything, has a bit more of the string/elastic qualities I was looking for. Would recommend highly.

I'm struggling a bit with this, I get a big blob before the string action kicks in, I think I need to practise! That said, the colours stay true even when the gel is added and when you get going its a fun medium to use.
