Liquitex Professional Satin Gel Medium

Liquitex Satin Gel Medium can be mixed with acrylic colours to increase their texture and extend their volume. Paints mixed with this medium will dry to a satin finish. It can also be used as a strong collaging adhesive.

Satin Gel Medium allows you to thicken your acrylic paints to give even heavy body paints a more oil-like texture. As well as thickening paint, this medium will help maintain good adhesion, durability and archival qualities. This medium can also be used with Soft Body acrylics to thicken their consistency. It will slow the drying time and retain the brush strokes with any acrylic paint it is mixed with. It is ideal for artists looking to use impasto painting techniques. Collage and mixed media artists also find it useful as an adhesive for heavier collage materials. Satin Gel can be used for image transfers.

Satin Gel Medium is lightfast, archival, permanent, non-yellowing, flexible, non-cracking and water-resistant when dry. It is intermixable with all Liquitex acrylic paints and mediums.
