Escoda Versatil Travel Brush

I have had the points on so many brushes ruined by taking them out and about in brush cases, and trust me i have tried them ALL! I thought i had nothing to loose by trying out a travel brush. I thought i would go for the cheaper 'non sable' brush first as a tester. Honestly no need to upgrade to sable, this is better!!! It is firm with plenty of spring, much better than the sable which i can find too soft. Yeah i does not hold quite as much water as a sable, but the difference is not that great. No more concerns over transport of brushes. Only wish is that they would make them in larger sizes!

These really are lovely synthetics. They are much softer and hold more water than the Perlas. Due to its pointed resting shape when wet or dry, it is much easier to recap than its kolinsky counterpart without damage.

I bought this brush as a present for a friend, but wish I had bought one for myself as well when I saw how beautifully made it was. The balance is perfect, the brush is light and slender (about the same thickness as a regular pencil) and looks very durable. I will definitely be buying one for myself in the future.
