Our Jakar Compressed Charcoal Sets contain 12 sticks of top quality charcoal. They are available in a set of 12 black sticks or a set of 12 shades of grey sticks.

This compressed charcoal offers great value for money and would be great for beginners or amateurs. Their round shape means they can be comfortably held and offer easy control when adding bold, dark strokes of charcoal. Compressed charcoal is great for shading, sketching, life drawing and can be used in mixed media work.

The sticks are packaged in a polystyrene tray that is cellophane wrapped and finished with a cardboard sleeve. Made to a non toxic formula

  • Great quality product, intense black.

    Im a big fan of copressed charcoal and these sticks are a delight. I cant help thinking they helped my work in selection for the Mall Galleries Pastel society.
