Ghiant Varnish H2O
Waterbased varnish for artists with 90% less solvents. Suitable for protection of oil and acrylic paintings. Will not discolour. UV-resistant. Available in 400ml matt or gloss.
For acrylic painting protection, spray two even layers at intervals of at least 12 hours. Ensure that the paint is dust-free and dry to the touch before application. Allow paint to dry for at least 48 hours before application.
For oil paint protection, spray two thin layers at intervals of at least 12 hours. Ensure that the paint is dust-free and dry to the touch before application. Allow oil paint to dry for at least 6-12 months before application.
Please note: aerosols can not be sent outside the UK or to the Channel Islands.

Great product.good drying time.good finish.deals well with light.
This varnish deals well with all light conditions.leaves a great finish and dries quick. You may use a hairdrier as I do to speed up drying.i always thought a varnish was better if it was not water based,but this varnish is first class and is easily applied. After it dries just run the back of your fingers over it to feel how smooth the surface is.

Used on both acrylic and oil paintings on canvas and board. I use 2 coats of gloss and one of Matt. No more varnishing mess.

for years I hand brush applied varnish to my work..not anymore..this product is so fast to use ..perfect results every time and very affordable.
