Ampersand Pastelbord Grey

Ampersand Pastelbord Grey is a clay and gesso coated hardboard panel. Its granular marble dust finish is similar to a sanded pastel paper but offers more durability and versatility. This Pastelbord has a grey finish, which is pH neutral and non-yellowing - making it the perfect permanent museum quality surface.

Ampersand Pastelbord is the perfect board for pastel artists looking to work on a solid surface. It's marble-dust surface has exceptional tooth, that hold more layers of colour than pastel papers. It holds pastel brilliantly, and eliminates excessive pastel dust from collecting when frames. This surface isn't just limited to pastels, you will see equally brilliant results with charcoal, conte crayon, coloured pencil, watercolour pencils, ink and acrylics.

This Pastelbord is not cradled and is 1/8" deep.
