Linda Saul works in water-based mixed media, using an innovative, non-traditional approach focusing on texture. She often collages different paper surfaces, tearing back and scratching the paper surface repeatedly producing rich layered effects. Her favourite subjects are coastal, landscapes and urban scenes including construction sites. Linda likes to use highly granulating pigments in her landscape paintings and has developed a workshop focused on painting experimental landscapes with granulating watercolours.
She is an Associate of the Royal Watercolour Society and her work has been the subject of feature articles in The Artist magazine (April 2021) and the American publication Watercolor Artist (Spring 2022).
