The stretched canvas is of medium grain, made from 100% cotton and is ideal for use with oil (including water mixable) acrylic and alkyd colour.
This range has been extended to include the new Winsor Deep Edge, with a depth of 38mm. To accommodate latest trends, the edges are clean so that you can paint around the sides and there is no need for framing. Winsor Deep Edge is available in rectangular, square and maritime formats.
Please note that all Winsor canvases are supplied with wedges. Wedges are used to expand the stretcher if the canvas slackens in adverse weather conditions. Wedges should be placed in the corners and tapped in with a pin hammer. The use of wedges is not a common requirement.
The number of canvases in the carton is shown in brackets after the size.
Please note: These canvases are available in both Imperial and Metric sizes. The top half of the page are measured in Inches, and the second half of the page are in centimetres. (The equivalent measurement in metric/imperial is shown in brackets.)

I recently bought 12 canvases 48x24 '', and I am extremly disappointed, with the majority of them !! The edges are warp, the angles are not right, etc. I paid over £300 and wasted my money as I cant use them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Julia Sadeh (Norwich, United Kingdom) on 28 Dec 2013
Ken Bromley's replies: I am sorry to hear you have had problems with your canvas. We will always refund/replace any faulty items and have arranged replacements for you for this order.
Pleased with the quality of canvas and stretcher bars. John Connolly (Chesterfield, United Kingdom) on 20 May 2013
I have sourced art supplies from Bromleys(universal deep edge canvases) in the past. Usually I have been very happy with Ken's supplies but the lastorder I placed was defective ie.one of the crossbars on the back of the canvas was split at the edge and doesnt provide adequate support. I know you state that the recipient must check the package but there was no damage to the carton box so this means the inner damage was caused at factory level. As the canvases are quite expensive I would like you compensate me for this as I intend to sell my paintings and this damaged item is unsellable. Brian Farrell (Derry City, United Kingdom) on 23 Mar 2014
Ken Bromley's replies: Thanks for the feeback. It does look like a manufacturing or transportation issue and a replacement will be shipped to your free of charge. Sorry about the inconvenience.
