I have tried other sketchbooks to take on holiday and compared with this Strathmore paper they are very poor quality.This was quite a bit cheaper but as I wanted to take this on holiday I had a little splurge and I am delighted.The covers are very strong and the book is well made. I decided to buy this book because I know Strathmore paper is a good quality.I have bought cheaper books(by about £6) but they are poor in comparison to this one.Not the best for large washes as the paper seems to try quite fast but for on the go with line and wash it is wonderful.It does take most watercolour well however.First rate Linda Greenwood (Lancashire) on 28 May 2022
