Saunders Waterford is an exquisite watercolour paper made using a traditional cylinder mould machine at St. Cuthbert's Mill in England. This paper is made using only the very best, 100% cotton papermaking materials, resulting in a surface that offers the very highest archival standards. It has a distinctive random texture created by the natural woolen felts used in the manufacturing process. Saunders Waterford paper is surface sized with gelatine to give enhanced durability and resilience to scrubbing, tapes, masking fluid and other rough treatment. Each sheet also has a calcium carbonate buffer to reduce the chances on environment induced discolouration.
