  • Great for inspiration, but...

Jean Haines is very skilled and I find the book inspiring, but I can’t distract from the fact that she uses and recommend known fugitive colors like opera pink and alizarin crimson. These colors will surely fade and a beginner might not know this, so I think she should at least mention it in her book.
When that is said, I just have to compliment Ken Bromley on their excellent service as always, everything arrived safely and sooner than expected.

  • Absolutely brilliant

There are few books that really distill and present a direction with a whoosh of understanding like lifting a veil.
This document could in many circumstances completely change a budding artists thought procedure, for the better/difference.
