Hahnemuhle Agave Watercolour Paper Block

Hahnemuhle Agave Watercolour Paper Blocks include 12 sheets of 290gsm (135lb) paper in a NOT Cold Pressed surface. Agave is from Hahnemuhle's 'Natural Line' and is a 70% Agave fibre and 30% cotton rag paper with a natural white surface. It is suitable for all kinds of watercolour techniques.

Agave is immediately recognisable by its cold pressed, very homogenous surface texture. It's texture makes is ideal for all kinds of watercolour painting, especially glazing techniques. Its surface allows brushes to glide easily to create brilliant colour, while lifting and corrections are also made easier. As with all of Hahnemuhle's 'Natural Line', Agave Watercolour paper is acid-free, non-aging and contains no animal-derived ingredients (vegan). It makes use of sisal, a fast-growing and resource saving raw material, that makes the ideal paper for environmentally conscious artists.

This Agave Watercolour Paper Block is glued on all four sides. Once you finish your painting, slip a palette knife into the gap in the adhesive and run around the edge to release the top sheet.
