Faber Castell PITT Artist Fineliner Pens

Faber Castell PITT artist fineliner pens combine the advantages of waterproof, lightfast drawing ink with the practical features of a reliable modern writing implement. PITT artist fineliner pens are available in 4 different nib sizes for producing fine, medium or broad lines. The black pen is also available in extra-superfine. They allow you to bring out finest details.

Pens are available in the colours sepia, sanguine and black. These pens use a plastic dispersion resin binder, rather than shellac or gelatine. All pigments used are synthetic, inorganic pigments, and the black pigment is derived from oil, coal or wood.

Pen nib sizes:
X-SUPERFINE (Black only) = 0.1mm
SUPERFINE = 0.3mm
FINE = 0.5mm
MEDIUM = 0.7mm

  • I know I will definitely buy more

    I know I will definitely buy more of these in other colours. There doesn't appear to be a great difference between fine and superfine, so I may opt for superfine and medium next time. The quality of line, and ease of use is very high.

  • Good sketching pens

    I use these pens for doing quick sketches when I am travelling, and at home. The lines are fine enough not to overwhelm a quick pen and wash sketch. Also good for adding the last minute touches to a painting to define an object.

  • Poor

    For some reason they seemed to be dry , not a strong line, have sent one back as it does not work at all.
