For many years artists have appreciated the qualities of the Langton. The paper is colour-stable, mould-made and acid-free. The best watercolour papers are acid-free to prevent the deterioration of paint and to preserve the integrity of the paper over time.
Paper is supplied in a pack of 5 full imperial sheets or can be cut into 1/2 or 1/4 at no extra charge.
All packs of paper* are supplied in the following options as regards size:

Great quality paper at a very good price. Louise Tate (Shrewsbury, United Kingdom) on 3 Oct 2013
Somehow I seem to produce my best work on this paper - I came across some art materials I had put away at least 30 years ago, waiting for "free time" to paint.... now retired and painting every day, all thanks to hanging onto those materials. So, this paper is my favourite for sentimental as well as practical reasons. I do always stretch my 140lb paper, though not strictly necessary. K M Hamilton (Maybole, United Kingdom) on 23 Feb 2018
Sentimental attachment to this rough paper - I found a 30-year-old pad when clearing the loft and couldn`t resist a little doodle....that was 3 years ago .and I have been painting almost-daily ever since.
Although I now use all sorts of paper, I do keep coming back to this Langton Rough, as I seem to produce my best work on it.
The right amount of tooth?... the right weight?.... the right shade of white.....I don`t know, but it`s just perfect for me.
I know stretching is not strictly necessary, but I do it anyway to be certain my paper won`t cockle if I use a lot of water - and anyway, I enjoy that preparation time, using gummed paper and a strong plywood board. K M Hamilton (Maybole, United Kingdom) on 18 May 2018
