Daler Rowney Heavyweight Smooth 220gsm Cartridge Pad

I really like the tooth on this paper because it holds charcoal well and is smooth enough for pen and pencil as well as being tough enough to take acrylic. A great all round paper.

I find this paper just right for my needs as an artist. The paper is smooth but holds charcoal well. I also like the fact that I can paint on it with or without preparation and its a heavy weight so it will take work with a palette knife. A great all rounder.

This is perfect paper for ink/pen drawings, but also stands the water based colouring very well. I am using it for years now and don't want any other :-)
