  • It is good pocket box

I have not used it so far, it is a present for a grand daughter of mine.

  • Not very good at all

I was very surprised when opening this box, I knew they were not artist quality, but I didn't expect the condition of the paints, and furniture in the box. The 2 separating bars were bent, forcing them to bow out, when trying to remove the paint pans, making it impossible to change the pans over to my artist quality ones I have here. I think I threw the cost of this box away, in this occasion. This is no blemish on Ken Bromley, as he didn't make the box, and I will continue to use him as my main supplier.

    Bromleys Art Supplies responded:

Hi Steve, thank you for your feedback. We have taken a look at the box and can see that the bars do bow a bit. I think this is due to the packaging around the half pans though. When we tested one with an unwrapped whole and half pan from the W&N Professional range, they did both fit in. However, the fit was a little loose. If you want a paint box that grips the pans better, one of our metal tin boxes are probably better as they have adjustable grips for the pans.
