The Caran D'Ache Pastel Pencil Wooden Box Set includes the complete range of all 84 colours of professional pastel pencils presented in a luxury wooden box.

Each Pastel Pencil has a 4.7mm lead with a strong point. Their barrels are hexagonal in shape to prevent them from rolling off your drawing surface and are made from the highest quality cedar wood. Each pencil is marked with a colour cap so you can easily tell them apart and are marked with their own individual identification number.

Caran d’Ache do not recommend that any pencil sharpeners are used with their pastel pencils, they advise that only a knife or blade should be used with these products.

  • Just the job.

    I've been working with gorgeous Unison pastels for a couple of years now but needed something finer for small detailed areas. I had a selection of various pastel pencils but found all of them too hard - they took off the underlying surface instead of adding to it. Then I discovered Caran D'Ache variety. They are the softest I've found so far and work just the way I need them to.
