Each colour within this wide and balanced spectrum of colours, has been selected and formulated to offer the greatest choice so that artists can use a unique palette that best suits their work.
Since 1832 when Henry Newton and William Winsor introduced the first moist water colours to the world, much of our reputation for supreme quality has stemmed from the Artists' Water Colour range.
Since then Artists' Water Colour continues to be formulated and manufactured according to our founding principles; to create an unparalleled water colour range which offers artists the widest and most balanced choice of pigments with the greatest possible permanence.
I started off with a Cotman half-pan palette, which I refilled from Artist tubes to get the colour and quality I wanted. I recently fell in love with Artists Journals, and drawing and painting gear I carry around in pocket or handbag. So I just bought a full set of Whole Pans, which I spray with water as I am setting up, and they are 1000 times better than home-filled half-pans. Just love them.Ken Bromley's prices are exceptionally cheap also, and they were delivered quickly and cheaply by mail.Thank you! Jessica Vivien (Kalamunda, Australia) on 3 Jan 2013
These are the best watercolour paints you can buy, no question! They granulate or stain really well and look great on good paper. Matthew Lamb (Slough, United Kingdom) on 29 Sep 2012
