Daler Rowney Artists' Watercolours 5ml Tubes are characterised by their rich free-flowing colour, which leaves no hard lines at the edge of washes. Its unparalleled performance is a product of precise formulations, based on the suspension of the very finest quality pigments in an aqueous solution of gum arabic. The formula for each colour varies according to the nature and behaviour of the pigment. Only the best pigments, regardless of cost, are used in the manufacture of Artists’ Watercolours.
I only use one Daler Rowney, their Hookers green dark. At one time Winsor and Newton use to produce a hookers green dark and the one they produce does not dye other colours, like yellow ochre to form a nice green. I might consider trying all Daley Rowney pigments as they are much cheaper. Alan Hearsum (Hope Valley, United Kingdom) on 7 Oct 2012
I have recently changed to Daler Rowney Watercolour paints and am very pleased with them.
The range is excellent and the various hues and shades give the artist plenty of flexibility in his painting. Colin Randolph (Darlington, United Kingdom) on 10 Nov 2013
I use this new colour to make great grey - mixed with Burnt Sienna. Nancy Lavender (Halstead, United Kingdom) on 29 Aug 2015
