Each colour within this wide and balanced spectrum of colours, has been selected and formulated to offer the greatest choice so that artists can use a unique palette that best suits their work.
Since 1832 when Henry Newton and William Winsor introduced the first moist water colours to the world, much of our reputation for supreme quality has stemmed from the Artists' Water Colour range.
Since then Artists' Water Colour continues to be formulated and manufactured according to our founding principles; to create an unparalleled water colour range which offers artists the widest and most balanced choice of pigments with the greatest possible permanence.
Great paint as always. However, I cannot imagine who would have decided to write the paint colour on the tube in writing so small you need a magnifying glass to read it - especially as it's really quite hard to tell some of the blues apart on the label. W&N lost a star because of this sillyness. Robert Wigham (Fochabers, United Kingdom) on 30 May 2014
Wonderful, reliable paint. The best! But the latest unreadable labelling is utterly maddening for user and retailer alike. It is retrograde step which W&N should never have made. Andrew Thomson (Bideford, United Kingdom) on 5 Mar 2015
I love this brand of paint but really don't like the new label! I really have to peer at the tube to see which colour it is called - bring back the old version! Sara Sylvester (Kirkby Stephen, United Kingdom) on 26 Dec 2015
