This range of Deep Edge Canvas offers the artist a good quality, acid-free, cotton canvas that has been double coated with primer.

Weight: 8oz Unprimed/14oz Primed

The stretched canvas is of medium grain, made from 100% cotton and is ideal for use with oil (including water mixable) acrylic and alkyd colour.

This range has been extended to include the new Winsor Deep Edge, with a depth of 38mm. To accommodate latest trends, the edges are clean so that you can paint around the sides and there is no need for framing. Winsor Deep Edge is available in rectangular, square and maritime formats.

Please note that all Winsor canvases are supplied with wedges. Wedges are used to expand the stretcher if the canvas slackens in adverse weather conditions. Wedges should be placed in the corners and tapped in with a pin hammer. The use of wedges is not a common requirement.

The number of canvases in the carton is shown in brackets after the size.

Please note: These canvases are available in both Imperial and Metric sizes. The top half of the page are measured in Inches, and the second half of the page are in centimetres. (The equivalent measurement in metric/imperial is shown in brackets.)

Winsor & Newton canvases can be shipped to Northern Ireland, the Scotish Higlands and Islands off the UK mainland.  There is an additional postage cost which is £4.50 per carton.
