Linen is traditionally the preferred surface for professional artists, our 100% Linen range is therefore ideal for all techniques including heavier application of colour.

The primed weight of the canvas is 13oz/375gsm having been triple coated using acid free sizing plus two coats of highly pigmented primer. This allows excellent adhesion of colour and a balanced absorbency preventing any sinkage of oil colour.

The linen canvas is stapled on the reverse to allow painting on all sides and has professional stretcher bars giving greater strength and stability. Suitable for use with oil (including water mixable oil), acrylic and alkyd colour. (All canvases come with corner wedges to achieve extra tension).

The number of canvases in the carton is show in brackets after the size.
