Winsor & Newton Artists' Watercolours 5ml Tubes
Since 1832 when Henry Newton and William Winsor introduced the first moist water colours to the world, much of our reputation for supreme quality has stemmed from the Artists' Water Colour range.
Since then Artists' Water Colour continues to be formulated and manufactured according to our founding principles; to create an unparalleled water colour range which offers artists the widest and most balanced choice of pigments with the greatest possible permanence.
Each colour within this wide and balanced spectrum of 96 colours, has been selected and formulated to offer the greatest choice so that artists can use a unique palette that best suits their work.

by Roy Smith (Tewkesbury) on 20 Mar 2007"I have never used any other watercolour than artists quality, mostly 5ml but I have a growing number of 14 ml.
My comment is to do with the colour chart. Could the colours perhaps be grouped differently - yellows together, reds etc? The advantage would be when comparing a yellow that I have with one that I am being asked to obtain for a particular workshop that I am due to attend.
My pallet has always been limited to 10 colours until recently when I am asked to add others for this particular workshop."
Ken Bromley's replies: Dear Roy, since you posted your review, we have added the feature to arrange paints on our website according to colour. Hope you find that easier to work with!

by Graham Riley (Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom) on 8 May 2012"To be fair I expected high quality from W&N, as i use their oils and Acrylics, but i have to say the light these watercolours bring to your work is something else. They're not cheap, but they're the best.
