Acrylix Series 203 Rigger

Acrylix is a new breakthrough brush designed as a synthetic alternative to the hog hair brushes for acrylic and oil painting. It goes way beyond to offer exciting new properties of its own. Acrylix, though firm, is flexible and has a lovely silky working texture - something it retains after many sessions in use. Prolonged standing in water has virtually no effect on them which is essential when using fast drying acrylic colours. This durable pearly filament also helps the artist to see and judge the colour on the brush; they'll endure and delight!

Nice brush, shame about the sticker on the ned (Acrylix Series 203 Rigger Size 0)

by P H Salmons (Wrexham, United Kingdom) on 16 Apr 2012

"I like these brushes, but this one has an unpleasant bar code sticker on the end. If you try to peel it off, it leaves a sticky patch that is a nuisance, if you leave it on it's still a nuisance. With use, they may partly come off but still leave stickiness and dog ears."

Used for fine tree branches - worked really well

by Gillian Everett (Aubusson, France) on 16 Mar 2012

"Happy so far with both brushes - two different sizes. Both produced good fine lines, both straight and curved, with acrylics. Went back to point when clean and dry. Only long term use will tell you just how good a brush is."
