We’ve recently launched a new artist community site at http://www.globalartnet.org
We plan to gather lots of artists, suppliers and employers to help them communicate. Global Art Net also offers a place where suppliers can advertise their products!
At this moment we’re trying to invite new members to the site as it is in BETA (fully functional) phase.

I have on occasion used your online service, but I was dismayed to find that a tiny box of koh-i-noor leads, priced under £5, would be £3.95 in POSTAGE!!! As a reputable supplier of good art materials, you could perhaps see that such a system could perhaps encourage potential customers to buy the same thing for £2.95, post free……(Ebay)

Hi, I am sorry you are dissapointed with our shipping prices. We do try to price our P&P at a competitive level, but it is not possible to apply different shipping charges for individual items. We do offer free shipping for orders over £40 to UK Mainland, and shipping of light orders is only £5 internationally. The prices we charge for P&P do not just cover the cost of the postage, but also the admin and packaging etc involved with sending the order out. I do understand that there are people selling things on ebay for much cheaper, but these people do not have the operational costs of running a business, and often do not have to charge VAT meaning that they are able to charge less. I would suggest that you buy a few more items at once and then you will save money and be able to get your order sent for free.
